Our Origin

Hand-stitched
from the ground up.

In 2019, Sarah and James started Texly not to chase trends, but to solve a quiet problem: the absence of textiles that truly respect the body and the earth. Today, we remain a small, direct-to-consumer studio dedicated to that original promise.

A Letter from the Founder

Why I started looking for the "quiet" fabric

For years, I wore synthetic blends because they were "easy"—easy to wash, easy to buy, easy to forget. But every morning, I woke up with a tightness in my shoulders, a reminder that my body was fighting against what it was touching.

That changed when I met a miller in Austria who showed me how traditional weaving creates a natural drape that breathes with you. I realized that "luxury" doesn't have to mean stiff, stiffly branded, or synthetically perfumed. It means finding the materials that let you forget you're wearing them.

Texly is my attempt to bridge the gap between that feeling and the rest of the world. We are building a supply chain that feels like a hug, not a compromise. Every stitch is a quiet act of rebellion against fast fashion, and every order is a vote for a slower, kinder future.

Core Values

The Three Threads

Radical Softness

We obsess over the smallest details—the flat seams, the soft labels, the weight of the fabric—so you never have to compromise on comfort.

Transparent Sourcing

We publish our fabric sources, mill certifications, and labor practices. What you see is what you get, and we are proud to show you exactly where it comes from.

Slow Fashion

Small batches, seasonal drops, and timeless design. We focus on quality over quantity, ensuring every piece is loved for years to come.

Partners

Where it begins

Our Mill

Located in the Austrian Alps, our partner mill has been weaving linen for over 150 years. We work directly with the owners to ensure every bolt meets our strict sensory standards. They use a closed-loop water recycling system that is virtually zero-waste.
